The Edmond sofa was designed by Carlo Colombo for Flexform in 2013. This ’component sofa’ has a wonderful visible structure. Its enamelled metal frame is wrapped (but not hidden) by a macro-weave upholstered fabric to create the back and sides. The furniture frame supports two deep, comfortable seats, which are decorated with six loose, feather-filled cushions. The overall effect is one of comfort yet lightness. All the visual ‘weight’ of the upper structure is reduced by the use of the strong metal frame.
